About Travelerpassage
A guide built for the planning stage, not the highlight reel.
Travelerpassage started from a simple frustration: most travel content is written to be read for entertainment, not used for planning. Long stories about a writer's personal trip are enjoyable, but they rarely answer the three questions that actually matter before you book anything — when should I go, how do I get there, and what should I actually do once I've arrived.
Every guide on this site is built around those three questions. We keep the writing short enough to read in a few minutes, specific enough to act on immediately, and honest about trade-offs — crowd levels, cost, and the small local habits that make a trip go more smoothly.
What we cover
Travelerpassage currently covers 24 destinations across 6 continents, from major capitals to smaller towns worth the detour. Each guide includes an overview of what makes the destination worth visiting, how to arrive, a short list of things to actually do, and local tips that don't usually make it into a typical guidebook.
How guides are written
Each destination guide is written and reviewed as a self-contained reference, focused on information that stays useful across seasons: transport options, typical costs, and practical etiquette. Details like opening hours and ticket prices change often, so we recommend confirming time-sensitive specifics directly with an official source before you travel.
